This was my last meal of a business trip, and honestly one of the best. Gorgeous location inside, very clean, and service was amazing. We never had to ask for anything, and our server was ready with recommendations and advice We tried the potstickers and tempura cauliflower for apps, plus a French Dip and a Parmesan Chicken salad for meals. Everything was so freaking delicious. We had avoided it initially as it was next to the hotel we were in, and honestly should've gone sooner. Highly recommend.
I found this restaurant to be a really good experience. You can't help but notice the beautiful rugged atmosphere of it but you can feel how well kept and clean that atmosphere is. The menu has a lot of great selections and I have to smile when I think of how rarely we hear somebody say " boy that was a great salad "...... But it was and I'm the one who said it. I like the fact that their portions are very substantial and you feel like you got more for your money in what you ordered. It is also a very varied menu with absolutely something for every pallet and appetite that walks in there. If you check out the menu carefully you'll find they also give you an opportunity to have a half portion of two different servings, for example a half a bowl of lobster bisque and half a salad in order to complete a full meal. It gives you a chance to check out the flavors of other things that they offer. They have a great French onion soup and I wasn't kidding when I said their house salad is absolutely delicious and loaded with many tasty and healthy bites. They also have a full bar, outdoor seating in the back which almost whisks you away to a really nice atmosphere where you have no choice but to relax and enjoy. In the winter they have a roaring fireplace, nice tall ceilings that give you the feeling of a luxurious lodge, and a wait staff that knows how to take care of its clientele. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, welcoming and delicious........ These are words that can easily apply to the Burntwood tavern.
I have been coming to this Burntwood for about a year now, only on weekends.. but today I can after work on a Friday afternoon & I met Brooke! She is an excellent bartender/server! Very attentive and personable! My food came out fast and was delicious, as always! You can tell she really thrives working with people :)
Just had a very nice dinner at Burntwood. Our server, Mel was absolutely terrific. The cocktails were creative and delicious. Our food arrived, piping hot, well prepared nicely, plated. Service was prompt and friendly. It was a great visit.
This is one of my favorite Burntwood locations. Great atmosphere, friendly. This location seems to have a better food (chef) than others. Brunch is awesome. Last visit, sorry to say our server disappeared a lot and we had to find someone else to give us our check to leave. Not sure what happened but willing to have another try because I really like this location.
Great atmosphere. Although they did away with the bloody Mary bar for Sunday brunch, the classic blood Mary is still a hit.
My wife and I were at the Burtwood Tavern in North Olmsted. We both had the fish dinners, We had a great experience at the burnt wood Tavern and our server Mel made it even better. She was friendly attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. The service was quick. She checked on us at the right times and her positive attitude really stood out. It’s always nice when someone clearly enjoys what they do thanks Mel for making our night so enjoyable.
Good service, kind staff and good food. The food tasted good and looked good. The drinks were well made and came quickly. We sat st the bar and had a good time chatting, the atmosphere wasn't too loud and it wasn't too crowded. All in all a great place to eat and catch up with a friend.
We went to Burtwood Tavern in North Olmsted on Friday for their fish fry special. The cod was delicate and flavorful, and the portion was very generous. It came with crispy fries and fresh coleslaw with a light mayo dressing that complemented the fish nicely. We also ordered the calamari appetizer, which was fresh, crispy, and perfectly cooked. The fish platter was priced at $22, which is very comparable to other restaurants, and it was definitely worth the price. Our server, Mel, was very attentive and kind. She explained all the specials, served us quickly, and was both professional and friendly throughout the meal. The atmosphere was great, and the menu offers many other choices that we would love to try. We would definitely go back and highly recommend it.
